My dr started me on the film but I would like to take the tablet. How should I go about asking my dr for the pill instead? I still have a few symptoms and several ppl tell me that the pill is a stronger and will help me better.
Dear Betty, I did exactly the reverse, I asked doc for tablets then wanted to use coupon at the pharmacy so I switched to film. It was a matter of one phone call to my doc that's it. Good Luck KCG (I gave up 1mg twice a day when I switched to film the dosing is a little different)
I don't if that's correct because I take Subutex. I just want to mention that rumor has it Suboxone Tabs may soon go generic. If you are sensitive to small changes in meds you may have a problem with generic Subox tabs. I have a problem with generic Subutex and now the original Name Brand Subutex was discontinued. But if you still want the Tabs, when the films run out just tell your doc you'd prefer to take the Tabs. If he won't agree you may need to look for a new Doc. There is no reason he should not want to let you have the Tabs. They're the same drugs. If he's such an egotistical, arrogant, eegit of a MD that he needs to enforce his puny will on you so he can feel like a Big man, well, you may have to play along. I have a doc something like that. I need a new one too.
Maybe you can tell him the films get stuck to the top of your mouth and you waste them trying to get them down. Just a thought. Good luck.
