... put me on morphine 15 mg BID. Will the relief be the same?
I was just switched from Percocet 10/325mg to Morphine sulphate imm release 15mg and I do not feel it works as well. I also take Avinza 90mg which is a extended release morphine I take it at nite and the other 3 times a day for breakthrough pain. This is my experience as of today as I made the change on November 3, 2009. I hope this helps my doctor told me I didn't feel it was helping as much because I was used to the buzz that the percocet ( Oxycodone with tylenol) gave me. I don't understand that because I think I know the difference between a buzz (which I never had or if I did I didn't know it) I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck and pray that you get some pain relief. To live in pain all day everday is no way to live but I quess all we can do is hope and pray that someday there will be the medication that will work wonders for us. Other than that I guess we should greatful that we are alive and able to be talking about the pain. I guess it keeps it real. Take Care Barb
