I have just recently been prescribed morphine sulfate, how do I know if they are IR, ER, or SR?

Morphine sulphate is time released over 12 hours. the 15mg are usually blue. 30mg are usually purple and 60mg are usually orange or brown.

Mine are white and say 54 733. All it says is they are Morphine Sulfate, does this mean they are IR's?

If the formula is extended release or sustained release, it will read ER or SR, respectively, on the bottle. If it does not say anything after the name of the medication then it is immediate release.
