Severe chronic pain?
Really and truly this is a discussion you should have with your Dr. He is the one who knows you and what medications you take. Like Laurie said we may be able to make some recommendations but bottom line it has to come from your Dr. Some people actually get pretty good relief just from taking Tylenol around the clock every eight hours whether you have pain or not just to keep pain well controlled. It should be safe for most people to take unless you drink alcohol, have liver or kidney problems so there again, it is better to speak to your Dr about it.
My heart goes out to you because you are dealing with so much. My sister has many of the same things with additional fractures in her 4 vertebrae. She is on many complicated meds and I believe that some of the meds have added to her problems. Sometimes less is better but only YOU and your DOCTOR together can decide what is okay. Please DO be involved with the decision making! Don't be afraid to research the medications online or in books and know what you are taking. The bottom line is that sometimes the Necessity of the medication outweighs the Risks. You will be in my thoughts!
