i am diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
I don't think so. Usually this type of drug slows down things including lowering the blood pressure if anything. I always had really low blood pressure, but a few years ago mine started jumping all over the place. Mainly it was the upper number. My doc kept giving me different BP meds & nothing seemed to help. Had an appt. with my heart doc, & he said I was getting the wrong meds. Gave me something else & it went away. Not just down , but away! (Don't remember the name of it) But it most cases if you have it, you have it period. Mine was a quirky thing. They even had a kidney specialist check me out & he had put on another med. It was totally crazy. I have taken Atenolol for years because of a fast, irregular heart beat, which is also used as a BP med. I have a few questions for you. Is your HBP new? Is Vicodin the only thing you take for it Fibromualgia, & why? And are you overweight, diabetic or anything else? Just curious, but to answer you , no I don't believe the Vicodin has anything to do with your HBP. Hope this helped. Good luck to you. ..
