... prescribed sr morphine it really made a difference now eight years later I have had an operation whuch severed the nerves to my kidneys so now thankfully I don't have any pain but now I don't need the morphine but find that I need it on a daily basis. My dr has changed my fast acting morphine to a slow acting type but 5 days in I feel so bad has anyone any ideas which will help me to get through the next few weeks
A Barbara it sounds like the doctor did not take into consideration that you would go through withdrawals, I am so sorry, been there, have you made your doctor aware? He needs to give you something like xanex and some nausea medicine or be tapering you off, not a very good dr in my opinion..so severing the nerves worked huh, thinking about "ablation" is that he same thing?
