im tired of xanax for bipolar anddepression and pain meds for back im not supposed to exercise do something to help my back pain
If i understand your question your asking if a methadone clinic will give you methadone. If that is the question, bring in all your current medications, any e-rays MRI's and I don't think there should be a problem. I also had DDD and ending up haveing that disk fused. But good luck with the methadone I'm currently on it and that is the only medication that works for ME. I have had four back surgeries three of which were fusions. I have been taking meds for over 15yrs and have tried every combo from A-Z from narcotic/opitate/and not narcotic and opiate. Now i'm on methadone, norco for breakthrough pain and xanax also.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
Methadone clinics give Methadone for addiction purposes only - they will not treat patients for chronic pain. You wouldn't want to go to a methadone clinic either, unless you have an addiction problem as you have to go there every day for your dose of methadone. Jnoel - sounds like it may be time for you to see a pain management doctor for your back pain. A pain management doctor can look at many ways to help your pain including medications, epidurals, spinal and nerve blocks, trigger point injections and others. I hope you get help with your pain soon.
