no side effects but couldnt tolerate pain with out it is this to much to take.
If you take 2 a day then what do you do for the pain the rest of the day. after 5 years of taking a relatively weak pain killer something is not adding up. There is no way 2 vicodin will relieve any pain for 24 hrs. If you have chronic pain then you should be on a sustained release pain killer rather one like Hydrocodone (vicodin, lortab ect) which last 3 hrs if you're lucky. So, are you sure you really need these for pain or are you using these for another reason... Dave
Hi Morgan. I kind of agree with mtvp on this. 5 years is a long time to be on a weak opiate that doesn't last very long. Especially if your pain is chronic and you couldn't "tolerate the pain without it." It's extremely rare for someone to not build a tolerance quickly to the fast acting opiates like vicodin. I guess you're the very rare exception! Please be careful though and have your doc do some blood work to check on liver function. 5 years is a long time to be on acetaminophen. Good luck to you and my best wishes,
