and now I have 4 new warts in the same area. Should I stop using it?
No, keep on using it and use it on the new warts as well. You need to be dedicated with treatment as they can take some time to go away.
Have you considered taking a supplement to boost your immune system to fight off the wart virus. Thuja, is a homeopathic remedy recommended by podiatrists. It promotes healthy skin and assists immune response to maintain the skin's defences against warts. Speak to your pharmacist for other suggestions.
At first my wart grew larger and harder. Thought something was wrong. Used for a few days more and it started to shrink. You really have to get the solution into the skin of the wart. Mine burns like hell for about 3-5 minutes. I've used Duofilm for now one month and have had great success (80% now) from it. I've heard some people use this for as long as 6 months... I would highly recommend you see a physician if you are not satisified. With over 100 types of hpv warts this would perhaps be one needing laser treatment. The laser is not as bad as it may seem... works well, and is efficient if done properly.
