WELL IT IS 5 DAYS SINCE I STOPPED AND FEEL ABOUT 85% SAW DOC ON FRIDAY AND CONFIRMED I HAD A WATER INFECTION AND STARTED A COURSE OF ANTIBIOTICS COULD HAVE BEEN WRONG IN CONDEMING TRAMADOL BUT AS MY KNEE PAIN HAS SUBSIDED SOMEWHAT I WILL STAY OFF THEM
3-4 days and you should start feeling better. This drug is supposed to be re-classified as addictive. You're experiencing opiate like withdrawl which are no fun. You have one thing on your side and that's you weren't taking them for to long and you weren't taking a ton of them. Hang in there a couple more days and look up the ''Thomas Recipe'' it's used with great success for opiate withdrawls. Hang in there... Dave
Here is the Thomas Recipe that Dave was mentioning. People are using it successfully as we speak on the drugs.com forum. You should check out the forum. Hope the link helps.
Withdrawls is the word for what you have. As for the water problems' how old are you? Have you had this for a very long time? If so you need to go a Urologist. You may not be totally emptying out your bladder. This is common in men, and may not be a pain medicine withdrawl problem. Just getting OLD!! <S> But correction is in the hands of your urologist.Nothing to worry about. Celery is a natural diuertic. What may I ask brought you to the decision of quiting this med.? Yes this medicine is for short term use only, as you know by now. Why is your doctor not taking an active role in your care?
If the knee pain is still there you need to find a Pain Management Doc. Not a doc that says he/she is a pain doc and does not have the certified diploma. Be careful in your choice. As you can get a quack. I live in So. California and know some here, but maybe someone on the board knows one in their area. Just do your homework.
