I have been taking Lexapro for 3 years . How long does it take to get it out of your body?

Number of years doesnt matter here, thing is you and your dr must taper off slowly, so depending on the strenght you take 2 to 4 weeks

If your doc wants you to just stop taking it then it will be out of your body in 14 to 20 days but your doc might want to take you off slowly and then the last dose will still be 14 to 20 days but please dont stop taking it without talking to your doc first,i work at a lab so i hope this helps
