I have been on opoids for 12 years ive had two neck fushoins 1st 1994 well the graft shatterd so well they went in 2months latter I was 28 when this happened im 45 now this incident took my carrer away 5 years ago I am tierd of sacraficing my emotions . DO i have any options besides neck injections or evasive surgeries most doctors avoid my questions
I thought you wanted suggestions for meds, or pain. I do want to suggest the Fentanyl patch, if you never tried it. People with injuries like yours swear by it. They say it gave them their life back. One reason is because you don't feel doped up like you do with most opiates. From what I'm told, you feel more like you took Tylenol. It makes pain go away, but it doesn't effect your mind. And since you're complaining about how opiates effect your feelings, I think you should try the Fentanyl patch. There are even special covers made if you have a problem showering. There are several brands. The Mylan one is very different from the others because it can be cut into sizes. All the rest have a pouch, and cannot be cut. But each generic seems to work a little differently. So each person has to find the brand that works best for them.
