Hi, do you mean Seroquel? If so I looked up this information;
Seroquel (quetiapine) is an antipsychotic medication. It works by changing the actions of chemicals in the brain.
Seroquel is used to treat schizophrenia in adults and children who are at least 13 years old. It is used to treat bipolar disorder (manic depression) in adults and children who are at least 10 years old.
Seroquel is also used together with antidepressant medications to treat major depressive disorder in adults.
I hope this helps?
Hello annaabela. Just to add to what Delila said, its also prescribed to treat various other forms of depression. I'm afraid Seroquel will do little for your anxiety. Not a drug used to treat anxiety. (my own opinion, and I'm not a doctor). Your dose is very low to begin with, so you'll know within a few weeks time, if your anxiety levels do go down. If not, and the seroquel is increased, you'll still have to wait it out. Hopefully I'm wrong and it does well for you. Best wishes,pledge
