I have been loosing a lot of weight lately, I have not had good control on my diabetes lately and wonder if that could be a factor... I want to keep my sugar under better control, but i also like the feeling of loosing weight as I am severely over weight my whole life. I don't know what I should do. My Doctor wants me to start on insulin to better control my diabetes but I don't want to, if I am going to start gaining weight again... I don't know what to do... Which is worse High Blood Sugar or Being Very Over Weight?
I realize this answer is very, very late but may help someone later.
Both being overweight and having high blood sugar is bad. If you put it in perspective having high blood sugar is way worse than being overweight.
Don't justify your loss of weight by having high blood sugar.
I hope you have seen your doctor, gone on insulin and are controlling your weight/weight gain by doing healthy eating and lots of exercise. All the best.
