... is true why then is the reason. I have been recently prescribed a capsule medication and will not take it until I get an answer or find out for sure that I can take it in the capsule form.
It is probably because you have an ileostomy that they said NOT to take medication in a capsule form. It may not work or it may end up in the bag. Doctors are human and make mistakes, call the doctor, remind him/her of the ileostomy and ask why you were prescribed a medication in a capsule form after being warned not to take capsules.
