... Been taking lorcet 10s for about 9 months now. I dont wanna get addicted but they are the only thing that helps. My dr also gave me muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatories but they dont help the pain at all. Is there any home remedies that anyone uses for there lower back pain that actually works? Im 25 and have to small kids. It would be great to not hurt and be able to play with them like I use to. Any info will help. Thanks so much... Melissa
Melissa I know what u are goin thru im 28 I have ruptured herniated discs in my lower back.I dont know of any home remedies for chronic pain.Narcotic pain medicine helps yet even takin them right you become dependent upon them.I take lortab and methadone and I know it's a vicous cycle.I wish you the best of luck.
I have the same issue and my mother before me has and her body has healed itself after seeing a chiropractor for a few visits. The chiropractor adjusted her by using an acupressure technique. I’m pretty sure you can ask for that kind of adjustment at any place that practices. After that and following the chiropractors recommendations she hasn’t had any more issues. I have taken a similar route but have added physical therapy on top of that equation and also seen a podiatrist to help me with supporting my back properly. Like most of the comments I’ve read I am too 26 - to young for the pain but have not resulted into pain medicine. Lastly, I suggest you get a comfortable sitting cushion so you can produce a better posture and are not agitating the nerve. Good luck.
