... pharmacy could not identify. Is is possible its a genertic form for Metoprolol?
If it were a medication it would have some kind of identifying numbers or letters. All drugs in the US do, so if it does not, it can either be a drug from another country or it might be a supplement of some kind. Vitamins, minerals and herbal products fall under different guidelines than medicines do so they dont have to have the identifying markings the same way that drugs do. If you are unsure of what it is and the pharmacy could not id then it is best to just dispose of it.
