No. Versed is a very powerful benzodiazepine that is given for pre-op sedation. It relaxes the body and has amnesic effects as well. You would not be able to function while taking Versed. It also does not come in a pill form. It comes in syrup and injectable. It is often used in procedures like colonoscopies, endoscopies, spinal epidurals, and others. You are awake during these proceedures but due to the Versed, you may have no memory of them and often people will think later that they were "out" during the procedure because they do not remember being awake. Taking something like this would not be good for a person trying to function in normal, everyday life.
