I would really like to have some help with quitting.
Hi there bjmoon77. I quit tobacco, just over two years ago. I was on wellbutrin, as an anti depressant, but it did nothing in helping me to stop. Wellbutrin is prescribed as a aid to stop tobacco use.I ended up buying the nicotine lozenges. And thats what worked for me. I smoked for almost fourty five years. I'm certain that someone might have a medication in mind to help you quit. the best to you.

Maybe one of these would be of help. I quit by tapering and then stopping. It took some determination but I stuck with it and the craving finally left. Good luck and hope that one of these meds might be an alternative for you,
The nicorette gum 4mg worked for me. It difinitely takes care of the physical addiction. The nicotine it releases really does stop the cravings. I'm only on my 6th day. Haven't got all stressed out or upset yet. That's the only part that worries me. Getting through a crises without smoking. Anyway, the gum is working for now. Good luck to you.
