Zoladex (goserelin) is a man-made form of a hormone that regulates many processes in the body. Zoladex overstimulates the body's own production of certain hormones, which causes that production to shut down temporarily.
Zoladex is used in men to treat symptoms of prostate cancer, and in women to treat breast cancer or endometriosis.
You will need to be monitored carefully as it may cause side effects such as changes in blood pressure, arrythmia, heart attack and heart failure etc.
You should talk with your doctor about any concerns you may have.
