aerobic exercises,Would it harm me?
Hi mumtaz - I also had a Cesarean, but many years ago. Because of being overweight, as I was, I'd be careful to work up to it slowly. Heavy-duty aerobics can be particularly hard on the overweight body, the knees, the insides, etc. Why don't you start slowly with brisk walks, while stretching & rotating your arms, before you get into the skipping, jogging, etc? And, general exercise can often be better than starting with exercises specific to the stomach muscles. Any kind of movement will help get you started, so although it may or may not cause great harm, the best advice I've heard is to give yourself as much time to lose extra weight as it took to gain it... 9 months! Your body will quickly tell you if you've started too hard, too fast! Good luck! J.
