will it ever get better?? i keep reading all these people say that their sergury was no big deal. but it has been 5 months from when i had sergury and i am still having problems with my knee. i still have pain in that knee, it pops loud when standing up or when working out and makes a grinding sound from time to time while working . is this stuff normal???
Was the surgery arthroscopic or traditional where the doc makes an incision in your knee to replace your meniscus? Was an implant placed where your old meniscus was or did the doc repair the one you have? Do you know what a meniscus is? I need a few answers from you before i can answer with any reliability.
I had a total knee replacement done because I had no meniscus or any other cartilage left in my knee. I have had loud pops, grinding noises, etc. for about 1 1/4 year now, but as every day goes by it gets better.
Let me know what's up and I'll answer as many questions as I can.
