Veramyst, however, does not cause a headache. Why the difference?
Possible side effects of Flonase Spray:
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome:
Dizziness; headache; nasal irritation or burning; nausea; nosebleed; sore throat; vomiting.
Everyones body is diff, so that might be the only meds like that you can take without having side effects. i would not be concerned at least you know what works and what dont,i had the same problem except i can only take nasonex because the others cause nose bleeds, hope this helps
Both are corticosteroids which have a link to migraines, although most health profs don’t know it and sites don’t list it. I suffered from severe migraines for years before I figured it out by googling “Nasonex and migraines!” Migraines are also listed as a side effect on the Nasonex website. Veramyst is a smaller dose per spray, which might be why it’s not triggering migraines.
