I confronted my boyfriend about it and he got very defensive and said its a muscle relaxer and he takes it for his back. That is not what I read. In the past I have thought he had a problem with prescription meds. Am I correct to assume he has some sort of dependency and addiction?
I sympathise with you in your situation. I know its difficult especially when your boyfriend is denying it and getting defensive. Defense is the first sign of addiction, although i am not a doctor but it does sound like he is hiding something.Maybe if you try talking to him calmly,i know thats easy say especially when he's on the defensive side but maybe if you explain how worried you are and also if he had problems with prescription meds in the past.Does he know you are aware of the past? Try have the chat, when you confronted him over the pill and he denyed, did you say you googled it?I hear your distress but you cant asume anything til you know for definite and also until he admits to have a problem. Just wondering how he reacted if you did tell him you googled it..Keep us posted and we are all here anytime to talk or listen.
Let us know how it goes
Best of luck
