The vomiting, fever, aches, RLS, and depression are killing me. I want to peel my skin off with a dull potato peeler just to lessen the agony all over my body. Is there anything I can do or take? I just read the Thomas reciepe, no $ right now. My doc and I had a disagreement so he fired me, and the programs around here are so expensive, that I cant get in. The pain is too intense. What can I do? I toss and jerk and wake up screaming every time i try to sleep.
Hi and welcome to the site. I am sorry that I just found your question as you had not chosen Suboxone in your list of groups to apply to your question.
How long had you been on subs prior to stopping and for how long have you been without a dose?
I would highly recommend going to the suboxone website and find a doctor near you that is licensed for dispensing this medication. If you feel it is too bad you may want to go to the ER. From what I understand, CT (cold turkey) from subs is NOT an easy thing and you were on quite a high dose of this medication.
There are several OTC medications that you can take to try and help the wd's, but I am afraid if it has only been a couple of days since you stopped it will most likely get worse before it gets better.
Please let me know how long you were on it, and how long since your last dose.
Also, were you taking this for pain or dependency issues?
Thank you and best of luck,
You poor dear! You went through those surgeries with only Suboxone and then your doctor dumped you - with a severe, painful health condition because you were prescribed Adderal? I didn't even think that would be a problem - I am in an opoid contract and took Nuvigil from my psychiatrist and my pain Dr didn't have any problem with it. But back to where you are now: please don't beat yourself up anymore about this. I can imagine that the infection in your abdomen is causing incredible pain. You need to realistically look at your situation: are you healthy enough to deal with both things? I know you don't want to abandon your family there, but if you should die then where would they be? Can you turn them over to an animal rights group or a no-kill shelter until you get on your feet? I hear you - they aren't socialized and it wouldn't be easy but there are people out there that are committed to caring for any animal, no matter how difficult. And if you can't care for them right now, it might be better for them, my dear. And it does sound like you need more help than just a subs doctor for your intestinal issues - please be careful not to let this turn into a sepsis situation - get to the ER long before then! They have to treat you, regardless of your ability to pay. A hospital stay, and the blessing of a good social worker might just result in a solution to the subs problem also - they might be able to find a program that would work for you. I'm praying for you -
