being a full month, when the nurse prac, got in there he saw that i was early and accused me of doc shopping and discharged me. can i go back to the new doc? would they report me? no script was written
You have every right to doc shop. I would go to the doctor you usually see in the first practice and tell him you went for another opinion. After going to the new practice you realized you wanted to stay with the practice. If the NP was not who you usually see she had no right to discharge you for having a visit with another doctor. The concern might be that you are getting pain medication from both doctors but either way they should of listened. I see many doctors but I leave my narcotic RX's to just one doctor. This way I never have an issue. But If I understand you never took a RX. I went for another PCP meeting. My doctors practice found out and they decided to discharge me. I talked with my doctor and they understood and let me stay with the practice. It does not seem fair to be "punished" if you want to see another doctor. Did you like the new pain practice? Let me know what you decide.
