1 tab./day formula-amlodipinebesitate ipequlvalent toamlodipine -5mg
atenolol ip -50mg
I realize this answer is very late but yes amlodipine 5 mg and atenolol 50mg are standard acceptable daily doses to treat high blood pressure.
Amlodipine is in a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers. Amlodipine relaxes (widens) blood vessels and improves blood flow.
Amlodipine is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) or chest pain (angina) and other conditions caused by coronary artery disease. This medication is for use in adults and children who are at least 6 years old.
Atenolol is in a group of drugs called beta-blockers. Beta-blockers affect the heart and circulation (blood flow through arteries and veins).
Atenolol is used to treat angina (chest pain) and hypertension (high blood pressure). It is also used to treat or prevent heart attack.
