... units once a day... it does not seem to be enough... i am also using novalog quick acting insulin 3 times a day 30 units before each meal... am i taking enough lantus compared to the insulin i was taking
All drugs have different doses since some stay in the system longer and have different comperative strengths but im not sure about these drugs so it might be good to call the pharmacist and ask. (also if you wernt useing the novalog with the liquid then it might be because of that since your now regularly dosing novalog now)
If you are testing 3 times a day when you change medications and the tests show right on, you are ok. If you do not test you are playing a game of Russian Roullete. Testing is such a valuable tool, Do not forget to log in your numbers and take it to your doctor each time you go.
