This just seems like alot of anti-depressants to be taking daily. Does anyone have any thoughts, my dr. said it is fine.
I am taking cymbalta twice daily and now my doctor has added wellbutrin xl to help me stop smoking?

It's been 11 days in taking the wellbutrin and I believe I am going to have to stop. I can't sleep and I have no appetite. Thanks to everyone that has helped me.
Hang in there with the Wellbutrin. I smoked for 30 years and tried everything to stop smoking, hypnotist, gum, programs, etc. After I had taken the wellburtrin for awhile, not even know that it would help with the smoking, I came home one day sat my cigarettes down and never smoked again..no withdrawal..nothing. So hang in there
I guess my first question is Do you trust your Doctor? If yes than I would say he feels as though this is a good combination for you. If you feel that you are starting to feel differently since you started the Wellbutrin call him that is why he is there. I can not tell you what is too much or not enough but I am sure you will know if something is not right.I stopped smokung 12 years ago cold turkey and during the most stressfull time of my life and I am so glad I did. Good Luck with that. Who can afford it now anyway. I hope you are successful in your quest to be smoke free and I hope the cymbalta helps as well. I am now in my 4th week of cymbalta 60mg once a day and I can say I am starting to feel the difference. Take Care and God bless
