You HAVE to tell them. For your own safety. See, that's what I hate about methodone. It has such a bad stigma attached to it. Because it is also used for people in severe pain where other meds don't work. It isn't just for people coming off of H or other stuff. Please don't worry. Be strong and it will work out for you. Other people with more knowledge will have a better answer for you. Good luck with your surgery. I wish you well!
God, please tell them for your own safety. The anesthetist has to know to avoid possible fatal reactions when you are put to sleep. You can actually appoint an advocate to help you, maybe a friend who is a nurse or any other medically relate job, and have this person there to help you and support you. Best of Luck on the surgery.
