I am 65 and been put on numerous meds - anti-depressants, high blood pressure meds; cholesterol meds, estradiol. Want to go off some. i will check with my doctor and pharmacy, but I want another opinion. Thanks
ESTRADIOL (es tra DYE ole) is an estrogen. It is mostly used as hormone replacement in menopausal women. It helps to treat hot flashes and prevent osteoporosis. It is also used to treat women with low estrogen levels or those who have had their ovaries removed.
Are you sure you want to discontinue this med. I would definately talk to the doctor about this one as it is quite important to the way you feel... Good luck... Dave
