I am on mononessa and i was wondering if i can still have kids. Alot of people told me that when your on the birth control or have the shot or been taking it for so long that you cant have kids. I been on the pill for 2 years now and was wondering can this happen to me bc i want kids its just not now but am worried bc what if i cant concieve because of the pill and need to know something so that way i know whether to quit taking them or not bc i dont want to be on a pill thats going to ruin my chances to have kids.
Yes, you can have kids. Unless you have any other problems. There has not been anything out there that says that BC can make you infertile. If that was true then why when woman come off of it. Have kids??? Smile if you stay healthy you have no problem. Make sure you take a multi vitamin as BC can depleate some vitamins in your system.
Keep Smiling and stay in tune with your OB/GYN Doc.
It may take a bit longer to conceive while your body adjusts to returning to its normal cycles. Sometimes up to year with some birth control. But assuming you are otherwise healthy, there would be absolutely no reason to believe you would be infertile from long term birth control use. No worries. If you are concerned, or are trying to conceive after B/C and haven't, then just contact your OB/GYN. I bet he/she will put all your worries to rest:-)
