The usual adult dosage for this medication is 500mg twice daily, by immediate release tabs or intravenously and up to but not exceeding 3000mg... contact doctor and or pharmacist tell them you are unsure of your missed dose or have actually taken it and if you should take one or wait until your scheduled morning dose... This information is by dosage admin for this specific drug, but does not include information on other drugs being taken in conjunction with it... I would call pharmacy first, if not open then just call a 24 hour pharmacy and they can verify this information... blaze22... hope this was helpfuly
