some insight on more. I am beginning to suffer greatly from the pain in both of my legs. The doctor say that the arthritis is bad in both legs, I can hardly walk. If anyone has some insights please let me know.
I had a friend who had knee replacement surgeries and is now pain free in both of those joints. Maybe that might be something you may bring up with your Dr. Just remember it is your body and being proactive like you being here and asking us and especially other Drs opinions is the way to go. In this day and age pain is something that should have been banished along with medieval practices the barber being the Dr sort of stuff. Sure there will allways be misuse of meds but that should never!!! hinder them from getting to the people who really need them. There are replacement joints for the large joints hip & knee and if that would make your life more bearable... and walkable... My friend was just full of smiles as she recovered from both knee replacement surguries one at a time... the chains of pain can be broken or moderated best wishes B
Hello Sharon A. My name is Kimmie1 and I love to talk when time permits. I have been through a lot this year all ready and live in daily chronic pain like almost everybody else in the world it seems. But you are always welcome to chat with me or anyone who responds. It can be a very comforting website. I wish you a pain free day and welcome to Drugs.com ... kimmie1
Like the first 2 answers, you found a good place to come for support. Maybe you can start by joining several groups. Pain, Lupus, surgery, depression, etc. Perhaps your doctor can refer you to a specialist? There are so many new and wonderful medications for pain. You have the right to be in as little pain as possible. Good luck to you and I hope you find that relief you so desperately need!
Im so sorry to hear that you suffer with pain like that,i hope the docs find a med that truely works for you so you can live happy and comfortable so anytime you need to talk just let anyone know this is a great website for all people who need to talk and get medical advice, hope this helps
