He is vomiting frequently and I don't know when I should begin to give him herbs and supplements. Obviously he can't hold anything down right now. I also wonder if I should be giving him fluids or not. He is sipping water but just throws it up along with bile. He has no diarrhea. Any advice?
Welcome to the site, please call his suboxone dr NOW. And yes, give him some Gatorade. The info we need was not in your post. How long was he treated with suboxone and did he stop it suddenly without tapering. If he did, he is back in withdrawal and needs medical intervention. Please call his subs dr now. It would be unwise to attempt to treat him with herbs or supplements at this point. He could dehydrate and many unnecessary complications could set in. Patti
Dear myson... listen to patti... call his doc now... he most likely needs IV fluids with vital electrolyte replacement. This should be now out of your hands... patti is correct... do not complicate the situation with herbs and vitamins. If you can't get a hold of the sub doc then please take your son to the ER... you do not want this to get to the point that he electrolytes are so low that he could seize or worse... Please do this now...
