Hey Joe ( and Billy) google the Thomas recipe opiate withdrawal for a list of over the counter drugs and supplements to help with the symptoms of withdrawal. Joe, have you thought about starting suboxone therapy? It stops withdrawal and it quells cravings. You will have to be in withdrawal to start the medication, there can be NO opiate or methadone on the receptor sites. Suboxone therapy also usually requires addiction counseling and that is a very good thing because it helps ensure you won't relapse and it helps you identify triggers. It helps heal emotional issues that may have started the addiction, it gives you support, helps you heal damaged relationships and helps you get back on your feet. Go to YouTube and look up members Maple 2609 and SuboxDoc for some videos explaining suboxone. If you are interested, I would also be glad to talk about it to you. Sometimes you hear people B*tching about it on here and other sites, saying you are trading one addiction for another, those are the people who did NOT do the therapy, and still have those emotional issues that make them angry. It does helps with pain too. If you do the suboxone therapy correctly, it can really help. Patti ps you are in my Prayers.
