wondering if thats good enough problem for the dr too give me clonopin or zanex to help me?
Hi blue - Put it this way, something is going on! I think the panic attacks, nervousness and constant or unruly anger are serious enough problems to have them checked out by a Psychiatrist, at least. I wouldn't immediately search for & jump to a medication to cover up the symptoms, personally. But, I'd sure want to find out, at least, why I had some of the symptoms, if they just suddenly appeared... then, I would want to look into possible behavioral therapies to accompany some immediate help with medications. I don't mean to be cruel, because I know all of those problems can be severe & debilitating, but please don't just be seeking the drugs. Instead, rather try to first seek the nature & severity of the problems, what they are related to & why, and THEN the solutions! Does that make sense? Sounded a little bit like just the seeking of drugs. But, I have often been wrong, and happy to admit it. Cuz, I've been there too. Just sayin'... Good Luck!
Your doctor may come up with a treatment plan to address everything, including therapy, SSRI's/SNRI's, and if deemed necessary, a benzo.
Klonopin and Ativan are the best for anxiety and panic disorders as they have a longer effect. I take 3 klonopin (1mg) per day to help control my panic disorder, along with Cymbalta and Abilify.
