... explained to my doctor lying awake in pain day and night it was so bad i would be up all night tossing and turning and crying so i was wondering if there were any questions i should ask or be aware of when i go to my rheumatologists in march can you help me ?
Ask him/her to due some blood work to rule out autoimmune stuff as well and then they will know more if it is definately just Fibromyalgia and not anything else. I am being tried on Cymbalta for the chronic pain of Fibro and MS and I hope it works you may want to ask about it as well everyone I have spoken to has sworn by it so I would ask about that as well it is better than getting addicted to pain meds. Hope this helps you, marjorie zych
Could you add more info to your question as in, what type of pain do you have? Is it muscle pain? Cramping, burning, stinging, or aching?
Does it hurt to be touched? Does a change of weather make it worse?
Just throw us a bone, add more info, we can better answer you.
I have fibro, have had it since my mid twenties, and Lyrica has helped a bit.
If you can avoid opiates, as Marjorie said, DO !!! As addiction is imminent.
Best wishes to you,
