I have been doing atleast 3 80s a day for the past 6 months. It takes me no time to withdrawl, I wake up every morning sick. I am 18 years old and it has become a serious problem. I am perscribed suboxen but have yet to take it seriously, the reason being I am scared if I take it and it does not work then I can't even do the painkillers. I have percocets and xanax, my question is should I wein off with the perks and bars and then move to suboxen or should I go straight to suboxen. This has become part of my life, Its all I think about and for some people its hard to get but for me I can get it so easily, like I said I have been doing it everyday for 6 months. Thank you for any feedba
Everyday for six months is not a huge deal. First start on an instant release opiate instead of the time released 80s. You should taper down about 1/2 pill every 4 days or so and when you get to to 20-30mg stop.
You can do this now while you're a kid or wait 35 years like I did till you're in your 50s. Then you'll have screwed up your life. There is NO future for you unless you stop now.
When you get ready to stop you can use the Thomas Recipe and it will help with all the w/d symptoms if you'll follow it. Here is a link.
Sounds like Robert already gave you the best advice. I am in your same boat. You gotta take the withdraw for about 36 hours before starting your sub. Trust me, you can do it. If you give in and take another oxy you have to start this all over again and its not fun. If you give in and you start the sub too soon it will exagerate the withdraw you are feeling. Be strong man and listen to everything Robert has to offer. He has walked many people threw this.
I would be more concerned about coming off of Xanax. The sickness from withdrawls from pain meds only last a short time but detoxing off of Xanax can cause seizures and even death. I had a very hard time with that drug. I didn't like Suboxen. I went cold turkey off of the Oxys and tried with the Xanex and I started having seizures and totally freaked out. There are free detox centers in Orlando. I'm sure they have them in your area. Trust me, I know that is so hard. But when you are done, it is so worth it. I liked getting high but it destroyed my life. Good luck. I hope this helps.
