with 16 years of out of control diabetes in the range of 250 to 300 blood sugar levels. After taking Norco 325 for 1 week my blodd sugars while eating just a smaller amount are reading 60 to 120 or 130 every day for all meals. I heard that Norco was a blood thinner also which has helped my leg circulation and skin. I have also lost 25 much needed pounds by not taking 66 units of humalog to control my bllod sugar. I now only take Lantus at night time. Any experiences like this out there?
Could this be that you are more active seeing that the hydrocodone is helping with your pain. I haven't heard of Norco thinning blood as it has tylenol in and not aspirin but I'm not qualified to say for sure... Whatever is happening it's for the good the only problem is you have to watch the hydrocodone (Norco) as it is a opiate and can be addictive... I would talk to your doctor about this on your next visit... Dave
