severe mood swings nervousness headaches have difficulty concentrating get conflicting answers from two different doctors. do you think im getting to high of a dose or not enough.
I had Thyroid cancer removed in 2004, I'm demale 41yrs old and I have checked levels every 6 mths, by surgeon they extended it to every 12mths check up.
But I have my TSH, TFT, T3 & T4 and sometimes my Thyroid globulin done as well every 4-6 months through my GP just to keep at the right levels I'm on 950mcg a week and one specialist said I was toxic and should reduce my levels or I'd end up with brittle bones, etc. When he began my TSH jumped up from 0.04 to 8.0!!! My surgeon recommended I stay on higher dose to keep cancer cells from re-growing somewhere between 0.02-2.0 he recommended.
Yes I struggle with concentration all the time! Sometimes a racing heart and shakiness, I think I'm moody because I'm female.
Hope this helps Heidi
