I am a 21 year old male and started getting mild chest pain and was prescribed 75mg of ketoprofen. I have a great medical history and am not allergic to anything and wanted to no how safe it is for me? I just keep getting the chest pain and wanted to make sure this is a safe before I take this stuff. Thank you
Ketoprofen is an NSAID or non steroidal anti-inflammatory similar to ibuprofen. It is used for inflammation and has analgesic properties as well. It is pretty safe but has been known to cause GI bleeding so make sure you always take it with food and never ever take on an empty stomach. If you develop stomach pain, have black, tar-like or bloody stools, or vomit a substance that looks like coffee grounds to stop taking and consult your Dr right away!
