... me please what to do I have used pain killers such as froben and neurobion tablets but the pain continues for three months then it disappears automatically . I cannot stand or walk for long time because of severe pain.
When you have these acute attacks the doctors should be able to treat it with a decent opiate pain killer. A sustained release pain killer like MS Contin (sustained release morphine), Oxycontin (sustained release oxycodone). These are fairly strong drugs and if I had my choice I would go with the morphine as it is safer if you have to take large dosages.
It's much easier to stop taking these drugs if you don't have to take them chronically. Try and stay away from hydrocodone (vicodin, Lortab, Hydro's) Codeine (|Tylenol@1,2,3,4) quick release Oxycodone (percocet, percodan, roxicodone). These drugs are fast working but you get tolerent to them way to qujickly. You end up getting hooked on them when all you're trying to do is get through a day with as little pain as possible. So be careful with these drugs as they are all addicitve but if you use them properly and don't use them when you have little or no pain then you should be able to live a pretty normal life... Hang in there and keep after your doctor by educationg yourself on all the different painkillers... Dave
