... 7-9+), frequent excrutiating kidney stones, ruptured cysys from polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis. In a nutshell, my world is full of agonizing pain. I am prescribed norco 10/325 up to 5 times a day. Recently I was given several 30mg oxycodone and I was amazed at the pain relief!!! I truly felt human and I am seeking advice on how to get a doctor to prescribe them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. All I want is to feel human and productive. I am tired of being treated like a drug seeker and I don't know how to ask for oxycodone without appearing thus. Many thanks, Lisa
Dear Zephyrlove, because oxycontin is highly addictive, regular doctors are getting into trouble writing rx's out for it. You might try a neurologist or a pain management doctor. Sounds like your tolerance of the other medicine went up. Talk to the doctor fully about how addictive oxycontin is before you start taking it full time. Alot of the people in the suboxone group that I am in got hooked on it and now are on suboxone to stay off of it. Good Luck.
