... negative.. is it accurate.. what's happening with me.. am i goin to die? do i have cancer?
For whatever it's worth... we wanted a second child, and my wife missed her period, she tested, and it was negative. Another few weeks went by, and she was still negative. We called the doctor, and he told us in a very condescending manner that negative means negative, end of story. After some time into the second month, she finally tested positive, and just got back from taking Charlie to the fireworks for his first time - loved them!! He turned three not too long ago. My wife soon after switched doctors... We also had the same concerns as you... cancer??? pregnant??? what's going on!!!
best of luck to you, and I hope that you get the answer sooner as to later! There's nothing worse than not knowing!!!
It is also possible that you are NOT pregnant and that your cycle is reformatting and you just skipped a period. Pregnancy tests don't really check for cancer, just the hormones that indicate pregnancy. If you can get to a doctor, get checked again and let them run a hormone and thyroid blood tests just to make sure you aren't having issues with your thyroid or hormones.
