I have hypoglycemia, but I have noticed that when I exercise intensely, my symptoms decrease and my blood sugar levels increase (throughout the whole day). Why is that?
Diabetes is a strange disease, and I have had this happen a couple of times, after talking to my endocrinologist we determined that what most likely happens is that my liver kicks in and starts secreting glucose and then kind of overrides my background insulin causing me to have high blood sugar for the rest of the day. If this is happening to you on a regular basis you should mention it to your doctor and don't rely on this happening all the time as you can't be assured that your liver will supply enough glucose to keep you out of a severe hypoglycemia which can become life threatening.
