Depending on the cause of your high blood pressure you may eventually be able to come off the medicine. You will need continued monitoring for quite some time and life style changes such as diet, weight reduction if needed, exercise as doctored ordered and approved and having your cholesterol monitored as well would be a good idea one usually follows the other.
