Yes. I have encountered this. Hypercalcemia reduces blood flow and increases inflammation within the micro circulation system of the brain as well as the blood feeding the brain through the neck arteries. It causes a rapid hardening of the arteries, which can drastically raise blood pressure. It can lead to istemic strokes, which are temporary, as well as permanent micro strokes which are hard to detect. It is a synergistic process, of inflammation, calcium buildup, high BP, stress and fatigue. There can be bizarre behavior changes, especially fear, panic and anxiety. I have seen OCD type personality symptoms become manifest in severe cases, likely due to reduced O2 and glucose to select brain areas responsible for balancing perception and behavior.
I find that most Doctors are deeply skeptical of this well documented process and its profound impact on the brain. Misdiagnosis is the rule, not the exception. I hope someone can help by telling us a medical or healing provider who can address this issue, anywhere in the country or overseas. There are many who suffer from this, to various degrees of severity.
