Does risk increase with age? Is having both knees done at the same time riskier? What should I tell her? Nothing else has helped her mobility or pain.
hi,im having effexor injections in my knees right now. synvisc is a lesser number of shots.but im doing 1 knee at a time. if i had both done at once it may have been too much pain to bare.do 1knee 1WEEK then the other next week. GOD BLESS HER i will keep her in my prayers... subzero58
Do not let them use synvisc. I had the synthic one NAME? anyway went well
the next time I had synvisc suggested by the Doctor. I have been sick for over six months now lost my medical career, have seen 8 different doctors
and have been tested and xrayed for everything possible and am still sick.
look up synvisc survior and i have everything that is mentioned.
I have been extreamily healthy all my life and now almost a vegetible.
my doctor asked that the company to contact me and i asked them as well
and nothing and no help from anyone.
Hi WorryWart5! It depends on what kind of risks you are talking about. I think age has nothing to do with the risks involved. At the time I had the injections my pain was an constant 11 on a 1 to 10 pain scale. Now my pain is down to a number 5 and I am not in pain all the time. Now I have swelling in my legs and feet constantly and it has been 13 months since I had the injections. I had injections in both knees. I hope this answer helps you. Judy
I'm not sure that age has anything to do with it. My mother had it 8 years ago
with no problems. so when it was suggested to me I didn't give it a thought.
Plus I have never had algeries to anything . the manufacture suggests not to use it if you ar alergic to eggs, chicken or feathers, Which I never have been
but now I am including Turkey If you read and opened each highlight on the site synvisc survisor and read all the complaints to the FDA as well as all the people whoes lifes have been runed. and for many years. you wouldn't even consider this for your mother. they have a man made alternative, or a new knee would be better. After six months of being house bound and suffering
with all of the syntems that are on the site I suggested you read, and being driven around by my wife because I don't know how i will feel hour by hour
Up until that time I was working six days a week in a hospital operating room full of energy and life now I din'k care if I live if this is how it will be, and I am telling you there is no help from anyone and the doctors are in denile like the company is because it not so common. Well if your the one it happens to
then its to common. If you spend the time to read everything you wouldn't
have asked the second question. Angry yes i am I lost a nice life a good job and have a very unhappy wife. Who will pay my bills now??
