I recently had disc replacement in my neck and was prescribed hydromorphone HCL 2 MG. It helped the pain but I could not sleep. Does this RX contain caffeine? Thanks for any answers.
Hi, Hydromorphone hydrochloride, a hydrogenated ketone of morphine, is an opioid analgesic, it contains no other ingredients, apart from inactive ingredients, such as dyes, lactose, magnesium, etc to make up the composition of the tablet/liquid. However one of the side effects of Hydromorphone is difficulty sleeping
Delila gave a very thorough answer for you but bottom line the answer is no there's no caffeine however the euphoric effect makes you feel good and therefore not tired, not hungry, not angry so you see it makes you feel good no pain and that's it's job. Ok
